STOP CHILD TRAFFICKING

Ugandan children are trafficked within the country, as well as to Canada, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and many different countries for forced labor and commercial sexual exploitation. Most of the children trafficked are street children, orphans, and vulnerable children that have no place to live, no care and no guidance.

MAKE A CHANGE

LETS PUT A STOP TO CHILD

TRAFFICKING

Child trafficking is mostly common in the impoverished northern Karamoja region with 90% being girls.  Findings also show that most girls are trafficked for sexual exploitation, mostly in Kampala with an estimated 700 and 1,200 annually. Child sexual exploitation, child trafficking and unsafe migration are on the rise in the country.

Foster Friends Uganda is enforcing free education programs to help street children, orphans and less fortunate children to start education. As part of the package, Foster Friends Uganda uses its education centers to home and protect helpless children with no homes so that they do not become culprits of child trafficking, acquire roof over heads, acquire life basic necessities, acquire a safe home and access to free education.

We can prevent and put a stop to this insanity of child trafficking by coming together as a caring community and provide homes to homeless children, enforce free education for all children so that we keep all needy children in school under watch, well protected, well cared for as we build important citizens of this global village
